The Egyptians saw the lotus flower as a symbol of rebirth. It closes at night and sinks underwater, then re-emerges and blooms again in the morning . Thus the flower became a natural symbol of creation and the sun. We designed these earrings with an art nouveau aesthetic. Frank Lloyd Wright meets Ancient Egypt, if you will. They are dainty yet structurally sound, made from stainless steel. Faceted sunstone briolletes dangle from the bottom and sparkle with inner fire. The findings and leverback hooks are silver-fill and the earrings are 3.5 inches in total length.
